Hey guys welcome to my channel Sachin’s FoodTour. In today’s home cooking series, we have prepared Crispy Medu Vada. The most popular South Indian breakfast dish. In this video, we have shown how to prepare Restaurant Style South Indian Vada. Please follow all steps for our Medu vada recipe and watch it till end for all tips and tricks.

Hotel Jaise crispy medu vada | Perfect Medu Vada
Urad Dal – 2 Glass
Curry leaves – 2 tsp
Jeera (Cumin Seeds) – 1 tsp
Chopped Green Chillies – 2 tsp
Chopped Ginger – ½ tsp
Black pepper powder – ½ tsp
Sooji / Rava – 2 tsp
Rice Flour – 2 tsp
Cooking Oil

Hotel jaise medu vada banana ki vidhi | How to make Medu vada
Step 1: In a bowl, add 2 glass Urad Dal. Add water. Wash it thoroughly. Keep it soaked for 2 hours.
Step 2: Grind it to a fine paste. Allow to ferment for 6 hours. Beat batter for a minute.
Step 3: In batter, add curry leaves, jeera (cumin seeds), chopped green chillies, chopped ginger, black pepper powder, sooji/rava, rice flour and salt as per taste. Mix well.
Step 4: Dip hand in water. Pinch a ball sized batter. Make hole with thumb. Deep fry in hot oil. Stir it on medium flame. Golden and Crispy Medu Vada serve it hot with chutney and sambar.

In this way you can prepare this South Indian Vada.
