Welcome back to Tasteful Travels. On this episode!!! We bring you our new series called "Another Day Another Bodega" This series will be more relaxed and less edited. We will show you more about bodegas and what quick meals you can get out of them. We try to visit different bodegas in each video.

Today we try a PATACON. This is a sandwich however the bread or bun is created with fried plantains. It is a VENEZUELAN sandwich whose birth place is in the city of Maraciabo. This a just a Dominican take on the patacon. It is completely fully loaded containing fried plantains, seasoned chicken, lettuce, tomato, red onions, peppers, and garlic paste. It was such a delight to try a Dominican version of a patacon at the bodega.

Price is $10

Sit back and enjoy the ride!!
